LOW SYN SWEET CHILLI BEEF
I had some beef strips that needed to be use up, so thought I would throw together a quick sweet chilli stir fry. This is super quick to make and only uses a few ingredients.
To give the beef a yummy coating a little bit similar to crispy shredded beef you get at the chinese, I use a starch coating and pan fry with a little oil in batches. I recommend using the oil rather than a spray oil, otherwise you won’t get the same result.
The sauce is then made and heated till thickened before added back in the beef strips to coat.
It is great served with some stir fried vegetables, I buy these bags of shredded vegetables which are nice and quick to cook as I don’t have to chop any veg, I just pan fry with a little spray oil and seasoning well with black pepper.
